I am tired of eating fast food. I’m tired of not being able to shed those last five pounds. So I decided to add more healthy foods to my diet. I absolutely love fruit and vegetables. I am eating the following healthy foods: apricots, avocados, raspberries (yum!), tomatoes, and cantalope. I add raisins to my cereal with some raw almonds. Instead of eating cooked vegetables
I am eating fresh salads with the following healthy vegetables: broccoli, ginger, spinach, artichokes, squash and argula. Did you know that eating stirfried vegetables is a great way to get those nutrients. Just remember to try and cook your vegetables quickly. What I mean by that is the more you cook the vegetables, the longer you allow them to cook, the less nutrients will remain in the food. If I get tired of eating salads I’ll “flash” cook the vegetables and add some yummy sauce for a different type of dish. I try to use sauces that don’t have a lot of sodium in them. Salt can dehydrate you.
